Marta Werman

Marta WermanThe French teacher who goes through life and her classes with a smile;)

Thoroughly educated, she graduated from French philology at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Lublin. Recently she has started her PhD studies in the chair of French theatre, specialization in modern languages, Department of Humanities at UMCS. For many years Marta has developed her linguistic skills during her numerous trips to France, her scientific activity at the association of specialists in romance studies and various types of translations.

She makes sure to upgrade her skills on regular basis by taking part in training sessions and methodology conferences. Marta has been gathering professional experience teaching general and business French for several years now. She has been teaching teenagers, adults, university students and entertaining children from the age of 7. “I like my job because it gives me an opportunity to be in touch with other people all the time, it develops creativity and good reflexes. What is more it allows me to fight with he stereotype that “if you can you do and if you can’t you teach”. I prefer to work with adolescents and adults as it generates fewer energy losses. Except for my linguistic fascination, France has inspired me by its arts, culture and theatre. In my free time I travel (not only around France), I dance Argentinean tango and I play the cello.”
